One Slight Hitch
A Play by Lewis Black

Directed by Jerry Pilato
When it comes to something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue, few brides expect the something old to be an uninvited ex-lover....It's Courtney's wedding day, and her mom, Delia, is making sure that everything is perfect. The groom is perfect, the dress is perfect, and the decorations (assuming they arrive) will be perfect. Then, like in any good farce the doorbell rings. And then all hell breaks loose. So much for perfect.

Featured in this hilarious farce are local talents Richard Rivera as Doc, Christine McCoy as Delia, Melanie Mino as Courtney, Deirdre Maloney as Melanie, Heather Armstrong as P.B., William Parker Shore as Harper and Christopher Szabo as Ryan.

Deirdre Maloney (Melanie)
Deirdre is delighted to be making her debut at Point Loma Playhouse! She is especially grateful to Jerry Pilato for casting her in such a juicy role. Thanks also go to her fellow performers for bringing their energy and amazing talent to the stage, to Lois Munoz for her constant support (and for being so gosh darn nice!), and to hubbie Jay for rehearsing those lines each and every day. Deirdre’s recent roles include Hawking Clam in Peter and the Starcatcher, Montfleury in Cyrano, and Hannah in Please Take a Seat.

Christine McCoy (Delia)
Christine is very grateful to making her Point Loma Playhouse debut in this very funny play with this very talented cast and crew.  Some of her recent roles include Lois, in "Wonder of the World" and Abbey Brewster in "Arsenic and Old Lace". She also volunteers with Southern California German Shepherd Rescue.  Much love to mio Marko.

Some of her previous credits include "You Can't Take it With You" at Patio Playhouse, "Lord Derby's Giant Eland", "The Vagina Monologues" and "Nickel and Dimed" at San Diego State University, and "Talking With..." and "Holy Ghosts" with the Sullivan Players. It’s been so much fun to be working with Jerry, Lois and this tremendous cast!

Picture
Christopher Szabo (Ryan)
Chris is beyond thrilled to play the role of Ryan in One Slight Hitch. Chris has loved performing ever since he starred as Indian #5 in Peter Pan in the third grade. From there, he has had fun working on High School Musical baking creme brûlée, Romeo & Juliet as Peter, and recently as the badass Ash in Evil Dead the Musical. Chris also works on camera too doing local short films and web series, including Star Wars: The Dark Resurgence and STAGE. He dreams to be working on the stage singing and dancing and in front of the camera fighting villains as a full time actor. Chris thanks his always supportive and loving family, friends, and future wife whom he has yet to meet.

William Parker Shore (Billy)
William is excited to make his Point Loma Playhouse debut. A theater graduate of Arizona State, William has been in several San Diego productions including Relatively Speaking and Dangerous Obsession at PowPAC, It's Just Sex at OnStage, Maple & Vine at Trinity, and recently Loves & Hours at Scripps Ranch. This is William's 7th time working with Jerry Pilato, and he is pleased to have been given this role with such an amazingly talented cast. William dedicates the 7th performance of this run to our brother the cockroach. Let him show us the way.
