The 24 Experiment Workshop is an enthralling experience that allows participants to register as a writer, director or actor within the 24 Ensemble in order to help create a performance in 24 hours! The 24 Experiment is open to all actors, writers and directors who want to experience a fast paced, intense and rewarding artistic and social event. The finished pieces are performed in front of a live audience. Audience-nominated awards are given for the best plays.

Become a Writer
Have you ever wanted to be a playwright? Do you come up with funny twists and shouts? Join the experiment as a writer. You can have your own team of writers sign up or come alone and make new friends. Writers arrive at the theatre on Friday evening at 7 p.m. for the initial meeting of all participants. Then stay the night, turning in their skits by 6 am the next day. Come back on Saturday night at 7 p.m. to see your skit performed in front of a live audience. |

Become a Director
Have you ever wanted to be a director? Do you like combining people, words and actions? Join the experiment as a director. You'll generally work with another director. Directors arrive at the theater on Friday evening at 7 pm for the initial meeting of all participants, then return the next morning at 7:30 a.m. for script selection, actor casting and commencement of rehearsal. It's up to you to do script analysis, blocking and directing to make your script come alive. Sign up to be a director to see the skit performed in 24 hours! |

Become an Actor
Have you ever wanted to get on stage? Join the experiment as an actor! All actors attend the initial meeting on Friday evening at 7 p.m. for head shots, introductions and schedule of events. Actors return the next morning at 8:30 am to meet their directors, receive role assignments and begin rehearsal the entire day until showtime at 7 p.m. in front of a live audience.
