7 Week - Acting Intensive Workshop + Showcase
"The Whole Actor, Mind and Body"
Directed by Deanna Driscoll
Actors will experience a series of exercises that train their ability to listen and communicate with the whole body coupled with definitive script analysis to create a complete experience for the actor and the audience alike. Actors will study breathing, vocal quality opening the body and a deep understanding of their character, ultimately enhancing the actors experience and allowing the body to move with a sense of ease and clarity. The classes will conclude with an evening showcase in front of a live audience.

"A Coupla White Chicks Sitting Around Talking" by John Ford Noonan

This two-character comedy takes place in suburban Westchester County, New York kitchen of Maude Mix, who is having a tough day: her husband is off on a weekend spree with his secretary and she can't get rid of the pesky neighbor who has just moved up from Texas. Hannah Mae Bindler badgers Maude into friendship and the two eventually join forces against their errant and erring husbands. This long running Off-Broadway hilarious comedy is a must see!

Clever Little Lies
A play about marriage, for better and for worse.
A mother always knows when something is wrong. When Alice notices her beloved husband Bill has returned home on edge after a tennis match with their son, she grows suspicious and springs into action. Determined to piece together the puzzle, she invites her son, Bill, Jr. , and daughter-in-law, Jane, over for drinks and dessert. Sidesplitting chaos ensues as Alice digs for the truth, resulting in even more honesty than anyone expected. Shattering and hilarious.

The 24 Experiment Workshop is an enthralling experience that allows participants to register as a writer, director or actor within the 24 Ensemble in order to help create a performance in 24 hours! The 24 Experiment is open to all actors, writers and directors who want to experience a fast paced, intense and rewarding artistic and social event. The finished pieces are performed in front of a live audience. Audience-nominated awards are given for the best plays.
