We are currently casting for A Christmas Carol: The Classic Radio Drama.
Seeking non-union and AEA actors. Must be able to carry a tune and sing classic Christmas carols accapella. Show opens Dec 2 and runs through Dec 18th. Performances run Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.
The year is 1942. Local Iowa radio station WKMB is transmitting the Charles Dickens’ classic. Outside a blizzard is brewing and we learn halfway through the broadcast the cast and crew are snowed in. In the holiday spirit they continue transmitting and later decide to have their own Christmas at the radio station. This ripe adaptation includes all the favorite characters, holiday songs, and humbling displays of human compassion that makes Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol a timeless classic.
